Yumei Lin is the Legal and Program Officer at Perseus Strategies. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Research Analyst in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the U.S. Department of State. With a strong interest in human rights across the Asia Pacific, Yumei also previously managed USAID projects at Democracy International and interned with the Southeast Asia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Yumei graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations, concentrating in Security Studies, alongside a minor in Economics. She was a 2022 Critical Language Scholar Recipient for Indonesian. In her spare time, Yumei enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, and learning new crafting skills.
