Amisha Adhikari

Legal Intern

Amisha Adhikari is a Legal Intern at Perseus Strategies. She is licensed to practice law in Nepal. She recently completed her LL.M. in International Legal Studies at Georgetown University Law Center as a Merit Scholar, graduating with Distinction, and also earned a Certificate in International Human Rights Law. Prior to Georgetown, she spent six years at Advocacy Forum-Nepal, most recently as a Program Coordinator, working on transitional justice, accountability, reparations, and advocacy for conflict victims, where she engaged directly with UN human rights mechanisms and domestic court litigation on behalf of survivors of the internal armed conflict. As a 2023-2024 Human Rights Advocate Program Fellow at Columbia University, one of nine advocates selected globally, she participated in high-level UN sessions, including the Commission on the Status of Women and the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, and engaged with a range of international actors and policymakers in New York. She has also completed specialized training in peacebuilding and conflict transformation with the Academy for Conflict Transformation and Forum Civil Peace Service and KURVE Wustrow in Germany. Amisha’s work is rooted in a commitment to survivor-centered justice and international human rights law.
