Caleb Briskman is a recent graduate of the George Washington University, graduating summa cum laude and Special Honors with a B.A. in International Affairs and Russian Language and Literature. Caleb wrote his undergraduate thesis on the reliability of Ukrainian nuclear energy since 2022. Before joining Perseus, Caleb interned at the International Centre for Defence and Security in Tallinn, Estonia, where he researched emerging Ukrainian defense technologies and the Russian-Iranian relationship. Caleb has also interned in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he worked on a number of cases for the House Foreign Affairs Committee, including political disappearances in Pakistan and advocating for Imran Khan’s release. In 2023, Caleb interned at the International Institute for Counterterrorism in Herzliya, Israel, where he worked on building multinational consortia for European Commission grant proposals on products related to human rights, counterterrorism, and policing. Caleb is especially interested in Eastern European security policy, the Russian-Iranian relationship, and human rights in the post-Soviet space.
