Lauren King

Undergraduate Intern

Lauren King is a rising junior at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science on a pre-law track with a concentration in Human Rights and Public Policy. Her academic and professional interests center around international relations and public policy, with a particular focus on human rights and global advocacy. She previously worked at the headquarters of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, where she supported global communications and, in 2025, contributed to a project designed to translate thousands of charitable materials, assisting in how the organization delivers informational resources to individuals with spinal cord injuries worldwide. On campus, she serves on the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) Student Government’s Sexual Misconduct Response and Prevention Committee. She is an active member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Society, the Empowering Women in Law Group, and the Black Undergraduate Law Association. She is an avid basketball and football fan, and in her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and attending concerts whenever possible.
