Sofia Sarafa

Sofia Sarafa is an Undergraduate Intern at Perseus Strategies and a rising senior at Michigan, where she studies Political Science with minors in international studies and writing. Her interests lie at the intersection of public affairs, political strategy, and legal advocacy, with a focus on international issues. Recently, she worked in digital strategy for a congressional campaign and conducted legislative research and media relations for Public Citizen, a DC–based consumer advocacy organization. She has also provided legal and administrative support in both public defense and corporate law settings. On campus, Sofia serves as Managing Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Affairs and as External Communications Chair of UNICEF at Michigan. When she’s not working or studying, she loves to travel, and she recently finished a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
